Dorian Missick Lands Role In 'Beware the Night'

(Los Angeles, CA) June 5, 2013-Fresh off a successful “SouthLAnd” season 5, Dorian Missick lands new role as Bronx -cop in Jerry Bruckheimer produced film, “Beware The Night” which begins filming in New York City early Summer 2013.

Missick joins forces with Eric Bana and Joel McHale as “Gordon”, a Bronx cop who attempts to solve strange crimes with mysterious surroundings.  This super natural thriller leads these cops to a renegade priest (Edgar Ramirez) who convinces them that the crimes are demonic centered. Olivia Munn and Sean Harris round out the cast.

This is a busy year for Dorian Missick. He plays the lead role of “John” in “BIG WORDS” which has become a film festival favorite. Set in Brooklyn, 2008 on the night of Obama's history-making election, three friends, once members of a promising hip-hop group, now in their late 30's, struggle with regret, disappointment and change. It premieres nationally in NYC and LA on July 19th and was acquired by Ava DuVernay’s distribution company AFFRM.

Dorian is represented by Todd Eisner at Innovative Artists, Myrna Jacoby at MJ Management and Attorney Richard Genow of Stone, Meyer, Genow, Smelkinson and Binder.
