Core Wellness4U To Host Healthy Living Expo

(Los Angeles, CA – Wednesday, June 3, 2015) In a world where 45 million women are living with heart disease, resulting in the loss of more female lives than all forms of cancer combined, Core Wellness4U is pleased to announce the 1st Annual Empowering Women to Healthy Living Expo, benefiting the American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women initiative, Saturday, June 20th at the Agoura/Calabasas Community Center. Spearheaded by the organization’s founder, Certified Holistic Health Coach Cori Banks-Eastmond, the expo will provide tips on how to create a healthy lifestyle in efforts to combat these alarming statistics.

The one-day expo will explore the many facets of fitness, bio-individuality and lifelong wellness methods. Participants will gain an understanding of how to identify with foods that will work for them, how to improve energy levels, and to explore healthy food alternatives.  Banks-Eastmond will be joined by some of the most notable players in the fitness industry, including Flex Alexander, star of OWN’s “Flex & Shanice;” Tatyana Ali, Actress; Billy Blanks®, Creator of Tae Bo® Fitness and a Master of Classic Martial Arts; Lori Corbin, ABC7 Eyewitness News Food and Fitness Reporter; Mark “DJ Wiz” Eastmond, Former DJ of the popular hip-hop duo Kid ‘N Play; Eric “Eric the Trainer” Fleishman, Host of “Celebrity Sweat” and Fitness Expert to the stars; Meagan Good, star of Fox’s “Minority Report;” Wendy Ida, Best Selling Author and Fitness Expert; Rhonda Morman, Actress and Inspirational Speaker; Dr. Gloria Morrow, Psychologist and Author; Jeanette Ortega, Owner of Founder of Extreme Fitness Results, Inc. and Certified Personal Trainer; and Natalie Wright, Author of “The Kitchen Workout” and Founder of Health Coach Care.

Cori Banks-Eastmond is a Certified Holistic Health Coach, Inspirational Speaker, Wife, and Mother of two. Her passion and desire to inspire women to improve their health and well-being ultimately lead to her career as a Health Coach. She practices privately in New York, coaching clients on how to reach their goals, for health, weight loss, stress reduction and self-love. Additionally, she presents workshops, lectures and retreats on living a healthy, balanced lifestyle. After losing her mother to a massive heart attack in 1996, she became an advocate for the American Heart Association and lobbied for a variety of causes relating to women and children. She is a Certified Tae Bo® Fitness Instructor as well as the founder and CEO of Core Welness4U. Her work with ASSEMBLEYWOMAN MICHAELLE C. SOLAGES has allowed her to speak at the National Women’s Health and Fitness Day in Valley Stream New York, in addition to speaking at fitness industry events, such as HealthFirst and the American Heart Associations Life’s Simple 7® Employee’s Health Fair in New York. She is currently working on her first self-published book entitled “A Butterfly Within,” which is scheduled for release in October of 2015.
