Synopsis: NBC is assembling an all-star team of Broadway’s finest and most talented creatives for its upcoming production of “Hairspray Live!,” the network’s latest stage musical following the phenomenal success of “The Wiz Live!” Based on the 1988 musical film about a teenage girl living in Baltimore in the early 1960s dreams of appearing on a popular TV dance show.
