Celebrities Who Voiced The LEGO Characters

The LEGO Ninjago Movie, is the latest movie in the Warner Bros. Pictures’ LEGO franchise; in theaters on  September 22. The film features the voices of some of today’s top actors, including Dave Franco, Oliva Munn, and Jackie Chan. Let’s take a trip down Lego memory lane and check out celebrity voices behind the Lego characters.

Jackie Chan – Sensei Wu in The LEGO Ninjago Movie (2017)

Jackie Chan is best known for his martial arts moves and he shows them off as Sensei Wu in the upcoming LEGO Ninjago Movie. Though a very talented actor, his martial arts knowledge has also landed him many stunt roles in top Hollywood films such as The Karate Kid(2010) and Around the World in 80 Days (2004). 

Rosario Dawson

Rosario Dawson recently starred as Julia Banks in the drama, thriller, Unforgettable (2017). In her role as Julia, Dawson kicked some serious butt to protect what was hers. Her Julia mindset translated to her role as Batgirl in The LEGO Batman Movie.

Zoe Kravitz can be recognized for her role as Blair in the recent hit comedy, Rough Night (2017) but less recognizable as Catwoman in The LEGO Batman Movie.

The iconic R&B/Pop singer is best known for hit singles, ‘All I Want for Christmas’ and ‘We Belong Together’. She has also made appearances as an actress in The LEGO Batman Movie as Mayor McCaskill and Precious (2009).

Morgan Freeman’s calm but authoritative demeanor has landed him lead roles in top films such as the Batman franchise and in Now You See Me. In 2014, Freeman proved he has one of the best voices with his role as the wise and powerful Vitruvius in The LEGO Movie.

Billy Dee Williams

Billy Dee Williams – Lando in The LEGO Movie (2014)

Billy Dee Williams is known for his role as Lando in the Original Star Wars Trilogy. Williams played Lando in Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back (1980) and Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi (1983). Just because the Star Wars trilogy ended didn’t mean Lando’s career would. Williams continued voicing his character Lando in The LEGO Movie and The LEGO Star Wars Movie.
