DORIS BERGMAN'S VALENTINE/OSCAR® PARTY
Once again Los Angeles socialite Doris Bergman had Santa
Monica Blvd. jumping as she recently hosted her Fifth Annual Valentine Romance
Oscar® Style Lounge & Party at Café La Boheme in West Hollywood.
DORIS BERGMAN
Bergman is known for kicking off the Oscar® season with a
first-class, invitation-only event that features Café La Boheme’s 5-star
cuisine, decadent drinks, a host of entertainment insiders and vendors with
high-end gifts. Her latest event
didn’t disappoint!
QMADIX
QMADIX,
the title sponsor, hosted more than 100 Hollywood revelers who were more than
ready to get a jump-start on the Valentine’s Day celebration. Attendees were
able to grab a ‘sneak peek’ at what’s going to be hot on the Oscar® Red Carpet.

thousand years after I’m gone, the hearts will still be the same.”
NATURE'S FLAVORS
Bill
Sabo, the president and CEO of Nature’s Flavors, started the company when he
was 17. He is now 52 and is still excited about his products, which have swelled
to 8,000 on the website.
“We
manufacture with ingredients from all over the world,” said Sabo. “We are
natural and organic. We’ve been manufacturing since 1983. We make essential
oils, vanilla extract and more.”
Kenny
Novak, director of national accounts for the event’s title sponsor, Qmadix, was
excited to talk about his innovative product.
“Ninety-nine
percent of the portable speakers out on the market right now are only one

of Bon Bon Home, a nine-year- old company based in San Diego. “They come to
find fantastic pieces. When I design, I try to find unique items.”
TWISTED SILVER
“We have
new bracelets and earrings,” said Cassidy Clark of the unique jewelry company Twisted
Silver. “We have an eclectic mix of metal pieces with a new attitude. We’re
introducing copper for spring. We’re also introducing a lot of daintier
earrings. We’re known for a clunkier chain and earrings, but we’re also doing
daintier this season.”
JENNIFER GERARD of WHITENING LIGHTNING
“Whitening
Lightning is American made product you can use at home,” said Jennifer Gerard,
president and CEO. ‘It’s designed for people with sensitive teeth. We have all
natural, no chemicals. That’s what sets us apart. All of our products are high
grade. We’re into problem solving. It’s designed for the person on the go. You
can whiten your teeth while doing your laundry or checking your email. It takes
20 minutes. You can use it once and put the rest in the fridge for up to six or
eight months.”
A
favorite highlight of the annual event is when guests donate new and unwrapped
gifts for children ages 13-17 for a pre-holiday gift drive benefiting
‘Wednesday’s Child’, a weekly segment airing on KTTV FOX 11 News, Los Angeles,
with Anchor Christine Devine. Wednesday’s
Child highlights ‘harder to place’ children in the LA County foster care
system who are in need of adoptive families.
Reportedly,
there are more than 35,000 children receiving child welfare services in Los
Angeles County.
KEVIN EUBANKS
“Wednesday’s
Child is wonderful,” said Eubanks. “We need something like this to keep people
sane. In Hollywood it can easily make everything about ‘things’ instead of
people. Hollywood can get like a candy store. This kind of thing brings us
back.”
