SHANTE BACON
Some of the most influential women in media and entertainment gathered last week in NYC at ReSette for Pynk Magazine’s “Pynk Power Dinner Series” honoring 135th Street Agency Founder & CEO Shante Bacon. The exclusive event - hosted by Power 105’s Angela Yee and ARISE TV’s Lola Ogunnaike - honors “pretty, powerful and provocative” executives who are making an impact in their respective fields. The dinner was sponsored by Mega Growth, Belaire Rose, Ciroc, and Tres Chic Cupcakes. Guests walked away with luxury swag bags including products from Mega Growth, Myx Fusions Moscato, Pink Friday, Liebeskind, Mario Badescu, Ciroc and more!
“It was a no-brainer to honor Shante,” said Pynk Magazine publisher Mecca Moore. “She embodies everything that Pynk magazine represents: a strong and powerful woman at the top of her game.”
Additional attendees included Breeze Johnson (BET), Mercedes Funderburk (BET), Joi Pitts (Atlantic Records), Naima Cochrane (Sony Music), Sharon Carpenter (VH1's “The Gossip Game”), Ariane Davis (VH1’s “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta”), Joi Marie McKenzie (ABC News), Ojinkia Obiekwe (WPIX 11), Alexis Stodghill (The Grio), Whitney-Gayle Benta (MTV), Demetria Lucas (A Belle in BK), Delaina Dixon (VH1’s “The Gossip Table”), Maureen Martin (Diva Gals Daily), Noreen Dodge (Pink Friday), Tola Lawal (Six One 7 Creative), Kimberly Wilson (Black Enterprise), Geneva Thomas (The Style Scholar), Taiia Smart-Young (JUICY), Penny Wrenn (Freelance/Glamour) and many more!
"I'm
completely overwhelmed by the level of support that I received from my
peers, friends and colleagues at the Pynk Power Dinner,” said Shante
Bacon. “I just want to bottle this feeling up and release it when I’m
having a tough day.”
