Doris Bergman's 'Sixth Annual Emmy Style Lounge & Party' Attracts Hollywood Celebs & VIPs

There were celebs, celebs and more celebs at Doris Bergman’s Sixth Annual Emmy Style Lounge & Party, held recently at Fig & Olive in West Hollywood.

Once again they were there to take part in a pre-67th Emmy celebration that included great gifts, great food, great drinks, charitable contributions, fellowship and, of course, lots of fun.

The Emmys air tonight at 8 p.m. ET on FOX.

Jeffrey Gootkin, Monica Bellevue and Perry Gentile

This annual soiree, considered one of the hottest tickets in town, is an invitation-only event.   This year it was hosted by The Auto Gallery and presented by Maserati.

As in previous years, this lavish, laid-back event is presented annually to honor the television industry’s Emmy-nominated actors, former Emmy winners, presenters, stylists and industry VIPS.

Doris Bergman

In the spirit of giving back guests & sponsors donated unwrapped gifts for young adults (ages 13-18) for a Pre-Holiday Gift Drive benefitting ‘Wednesday’s Child’ -- a weekly segment airing on KTTV FOX 11 News, Los Angeles, with Anchor Christine Devine. ‘Wednesday’s Child’ highlights ‘harder to place’ children in the LA County foster care system who are in need of adoptive families. In Los Angeles County, alone, there are over 35,000 children receiving child welfare services,” says social worker, Professor  William Wong.  “Gifts and monetary donations to the ‘Wednesday’s Child’ Pre-Holiday Gift Drive has been overwhelming and, most importantly, the event Sponsors and celebrity guests have provided examples to follow --  giving the public permission to embrace our kids.  I believe that people are inherently good and want to do good things.”

Bergman always invites two foster children to join in on the festivities and experience what it feels like to be treated as a VIP.  This year, Bergman invited one foster child and one child that was adopted through the “Wednesday’s Child” program.  “Wednesday’s Child really works!” says Bergman.
